NENA is upgrading their national PSAP registry to include additional information that can assist telecommunications service providers in meeting the FCC outage reporting requirements. We are asking all of the metro PSAPs to update the NENA registry, now called the “NENA Enhanced PSAP Registry and Census”, with their PSAP information. This NENA Registry Information form link will take you to a spreadsheet showing the information the MESB has on file for your PSAP. Note that the information in this spreadsheet is formatted to match the information the FCC PSAP Registry is using (e.g. your PSAP name), as well as the information the MESB shares with the telecommunications and 9-1-1 service providers. If you identify any inaccurate information, please notify the Director of 9-1-1 Services or the 9-1-1 Coordinator as soon as possible. Our hope is that the use of this registry will eliminate the need for the service providers to all contact your PSAP on a regular basis seeking updated contact information.
